Unit Highlights

Nurses on 2NE care for acutely ill medical cardiology and cardiovascular surgery patients and their families. Patients on this unit have sick hearts, and we are here to fix them! Heart failure, heart attacks, post operative vascular and cardiac surgery patients, and cardiogenic shock are our primary diagnosis. Our patients are sick and need expert nurses to care for them. Our medical model uses collaboration between cardiology fellows, residents, and interns to provide exceptional and empathetic care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications

ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.

Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.

Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
