The Crane Service Technician plays a critical role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing overhead cranes and industrial lifting systems to ensure safety and operational efficiency. This position works closely with the maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement across all facilities.
Responsibilities :
- Inspect, maintain, and repair overhead cranes, hoists, and related lifting equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance in accordance with established schedules.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues using testing and diagnostic tools.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with all safety procedures.
- Support installation and modification of new or upgraded lifting systems.
- Collaborate with operations and safety personnel to resolve maintenance concerns and implement improvements.
Qualifications :
Minimum 3 years of experience repairing cranes or industrial lifting equipment.Crane certification and valid driver’s license required.Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
