Faculty, Surgical Technology (tenure track)

Job Summary : Provides academic instruction and student academic support for the School of Health Sciences. Performs tasks designed to ensure the quality and consistency of academic instruction including governance activities. Responsible for working collaboratively with the program director. Responsible for all clinical aspects of the Surgical Technology program under the direction of the program director, which includes the management, administration, continuous review, analysis, and revision, planning, development, and general effectiveness of the clinical portion of the program. Maintains lab equipment and supplies.

Minimum Qualifications :

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), Associate's Degree, and 5 years experience as a Surgical Technologist or, a combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Licensing Requirements :

• Valid Driver's License
• Required to be compliant with PA Child Protective Service Laws.

Hiring Range : $45,000 - $53,900

Preferred Qualifications : Community College experience

Experience with Learning Management System(s) (such as D2L, Canvas, etc.)
