POSITION OPENING Part-Time Licensed School Social Worker

Position : Part-Time Licensed School Social Worker (District-Wide)

Hours : 20-25 hours per week, 10-month position (school calendar)

Reports To : Director of Student Services / Building Principal

Overview : Aliquippa School District is seeking a compassionate, highly skilled Licensed School Social Worker to support student success across all grade levels. This position will provide social-emotional support, address barriers to learning, and coordinate services related to truancy prevention, homelessness (McKinney-Vento), and community resources .

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention to students.
• Monitor and address attendance concerns, conduct Student Attendance Improvement Conferences, and collaborate with truancy court when needed.
• Serve as the district's McKinney-Vento liaison, ensuring immediate enrollment and access to services for homeless students.
• Connect students and families with community resources.
• Work collaboratively with administrators, teachers, counselors, and outside agencies.
