About The Position

Description :
The position requires a registered nurse with experience in an emergency department.
Candidates should be flexible with scheduling.
There is a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences.
Candidates must be aware of the Pass Fail EKG exam required for all nurses regardless of specialty.
The role includes working 3 shifts per week from 7 PM to 7 : 30 AM.
Two weekend shifts or four weekend days are required every six weeks.
Holidays may also be needed as per department requirements.
Candidates with prior charge nurse and trauma experience are preferred.
Essential skills include arterial line management, blood product administration, and central line care / management.
Familiarity with continuous IV sedation, CPAP / BiPAP, and cerebrovascular accident management is necessary.
The emergency department sees varied diagnoses including stroke and cardiac cases.
Support services available include IV teams, respiratory services, phlebotomy, and social services.
Interdisciplinary collaboration is critical in this role.
Candidates must pass required compliance tests prior to starting.
Study material for the exams is not provided, so candidates should prepare accordingly.
Compliance documentation must be completed as directed.
Preference will be given to those with experience in Level 2 Trauma Centers.
All candidates will be subject to a background check without any open cases.
Open positions are intended for traveling nurses seeking assignments.
