Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Procedural Scheduler- GI

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience required.

This is a FULL TIME / TEMP TO HIRE position requiring availability between the hours of 8 : 30 AM- 5 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday, located in Norfolk, VA (23502).

Responsibilities :

A Day in the Life of a Procedural Scheduler- GI :

As a Procedural Scheduler-GI, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient care while abiding by all HIPAA laws and regulations in an outpatient clinic setting. Your role is instrumental in the assessment process for the clinic visit, which includes scheduling procedures, laboratory testing, and radiology tests. You will be scheduling patients in the office and also over the phone and providing information and education to the patients regarding their procedures. This position is in the heart of Norfolk, VA 23502!

Requirements for the Procedural Scheduler-GI :

  • Required : 2 years of experience as a procedure scheduler
  • Required : Knowledge of Medical terminology
  • Required : Computer EMR experience
  • Required : Ability to pass a Background Check and Drug Screen
  • Required : Must be reliable and a quick learner and can multitask with accuracy in a very busy environment
  • Required : Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Preferred Qualifications for the Procedure Scheduler :

  • Preferred : Gastroenterology experience

    • Benefits :
