As the Director, Human Resources you will have overall responsibility to lead and drive global people strategies for corporate teams, ensuring proper management and deployment of all strategic aspects of the full employee cycle while embracing Global and regional policies, processes, and programs.

This role will provide Strategic HR Business Partnering support to key Executive corporate leaders in global functions in the achievement of their business goals through people strategies and development and implementation of people strategies and processes reflecting current and long-term business objectives. This role will be the liaison amongst regional HR teams, partnering with regional HR colleagues to ensure a smooth deployment of cross-regional activity and guaranteeing a great employee experience across borders.

What youll do on a typical day :

Strategic HR Business Partner to assigned leadership group : acts as a coach, architect, builder, facilitator, leader whilst ensuring HR delivery is fully aligned to the functional and HR strategic goals

Develops a high-performance culture by identifying issues and root causes and designing and implementing solutions, proving measurable performance indicators and improvement plans where needed

Brings HR insight in the assigned groups to address all people related issues as well as the shaping of the current strategies (people, capabilities, leadership, and culture)

Partners with regional and COE teams to ensure all HR activities, projects and programs are built and delivered in accordance with the global and regional needs.

Act as a change agent to drive business transformation : from organization design to change management initiatives, helps the organization move forward as required

Work with key stakeholders in the development of effective talent management and succession planning processes

Provides thought leadership to all stakeholders group promoting high performance and high engagement levels

What you need to succeed at GXO :

At a minimum, youll need :

Bachelors degree or equivalent related work or military experience

7 years of relevant HR experience supporting global leaders in senior positions

Experience with corporate roles in global organizations, supporting global teams / agendas

Strong experience driving functional transformations

General understanding of US and UK / European employment law

Proven track record of working cross-functionally and cross-regionally at an executive level, as well as ability to roll-up the sleeves & be hands-on.

Itd be great if you also have :

Bachelors degree in HR, Business or Psychology

MBA, Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or other HR certification or designation

Dynamic problem solver, solid analytical skills, comfortable challenging assumptions and offering solutions / making decisions with currently available information.

A global mindset, strong collaboration and matrixed-management skills

A can do mentality with high results orientation and action driven ways of working
