We are seeking a talented Natural Gas Trader to join the dynamic team, driving success in the US natural gas markets.
Responsibilities :
- Market Analysis : Conduct thorough analysis of the US natural gas markets, including supply and demand dynamics, weather patterns, storage levels, and regulatory developments.
- Trading Strategies : Develop and execute trading strategies to capitalize on market opportunities, manage risks, and maximize profitability.
- Portfolio Management : Manage a portfolio of natural gas positions, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with risk management guidelines.
- Execution : Execute trades efficiently across various platforms and exchanges, maintaining strong relationships with brokers and counterparties.
- Research & Insights : Collaborate with the research team to gather and interpret data, providing actionable insights to inform trading decisions.
- Compliance & Reporting : Ensure all trading activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Prepare regular reports on trading performance and market conditions.
Requirements :
- Experience : Minimum of 3+ years' of experience trading US natural gas markets, with a proven track record of success.
- Track Record : Proven ability to generate impressive returns on the US Natural Gas Market.
- Trading Horizon : MUST be trading beyond day ahead, ideally along the curve.
- Knowledge : Deep understanding of natural gas market fundamentals, trading strategies, and risk management practices.
- Skills : Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in trading platforms and analytical tools.
- Communication : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.
g., CFA, CMT) are a plus.
