What you'll do
- Monitor manufacturing schedules and determine optimal ordering and inventory balances for the plant
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments
- Create purchase orders, strategically purchasing materials in line with cost, quality, and delivery targets
- Analyze capacity, demand planning, turnover, cost, lead times, and identify continuous improvement opportunities in inventory control
- Ensure accurate data management of shipments, inventories, BOMs, and other key data related to materials and supply chain operations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Production, Warehousing, Purchasing, and Logistics to plan for changes and new developments.
- Foster strong communication with vendors and customers to ensure accurate, timely, and satisfactory shipments
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years experience in material planning, production scheduling, inventory control, purchasing & logistics
- Experience in fast-paced, Lean manufacturing environments
- Someone with initiative who is detail-oriented, data-driven, team-oriented, personally accountable, with a passion for career and professional growth in supply chain & logistics
- Bachelor or Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Material Planning, BA or related field preferred
- Ability to work onsite, Monday Friday
