Overview

Rocket Money is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to join our Growth Marketing team. Reporting to the Creative Director, you will be part of a design team focused on creating high-converting direct response advertising. You’ll collaborate daily with copywriters, video producers, editors, and digital media buyers to develop campaigns that drive measurable results across marketing channels. Be prepared to rapidly produce creative iterations with purpose and to balance creative innovation with brand integrity and regulatory considerations. Location options include San Francisco, CA; Washington, DC; New York, NY; Detroit, MI; Denver, CO; or Miami, FL. We encourage team members to be in the office 1-2 days per week, though there is no formal in-office requirement. Travel to the office or on business may be required approximately once every other month.

Salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 per year, plus bonus and benefits. Base pay may vary based on knowledge, skills, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design direct response advertising creative that drives conversions across paid social, display, OOH, and other digital channels
• Demonstrate strong graphic design skills with the ability to take an idea from ideation to finished work
• Create multiple unique design directions and variations that push creative boundaries while maintaining brand integrity
• Develop clear, action-oriented visual hierarchies that guide users toward desired actions
• Collaborate with media buyers and strategists to understand performance data and optimize creative based on results
• Research and share emerging design trends, innovative ad concepts, and social creative strategies
• Partner with the growth team to brainstorm and develop impactful visual concepts that complement direct response copy
• Maintain strong typography, composition, and visual hierarchy foundations; ensure designs align with brand identity
