LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a qualified Accounting Specialist for a direct hire position in Century City, CA.
The successful candidate will bring a minimum of 3 years of robust accounting experience, preferably with a focus on Accounts Payable.
This role involves working in the legal / law firm industry, and candidates with prior experience in this sector are highly desired.
Responsibilities :
Assist with both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
Retrieve payments via checks, credit cards, ACH / wires, and accurately post them to clients' accounts.
Perform daily deposits to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Conduct matching, coding, and entering of invoices, including handling employees' reimbursements.
Reconcile credit cards and bank accounts regularly to ensure financial accuracy.
Execute weekly check runs in a timely and efficient manner.
Manage vendor relationships by updating profiles, retrieving necessary documents, and communicating effectively via phone and email.
Perform vendor statement reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Proactively research and resolve discrepancies in financial transactions.
Perform additional administrative tasks as needed, including filing, scanning, and organizing records.
Qualifications :
3+ years of strong accounting experience, preferably with a focus on Accounts Payable.
Strong Excel skills, particularly in pivot tables and vlookups.
Previous experience in the legal / law firm industry is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
