Pay : $37.04 - $55.57 / hour. Pay is based on your relevant experience.

Join UCHealth as a dedicated EPIC Cache / Iris Database Administrator in our Database Administration team, where you'll help maintain various EPIC database environments serving over 25,000 users. We are looking for motivated candidates who excel at technical problem-solving and thrive in a collaborative, customer-oriented environment. This position is open to experienced administrators with either 3 or more years of relevant experience as a Database Administrator, or 5 years for the Senior DBA role.

What You’ll Do :

• Be a Subject Matter Expert for Caché / Iris.
• Install, configure, and maintain database environments.
• Set up and manage Epic monitoring tools like Redalert and System Pulse; monitor service health, manage requests, and implement change management.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues within the environment, establishing processes to prevent future problems.
• Perform routine upgrades and updates while ensuring business continuity through disaster recovery and backup restores.
• Conduct performance evaluations and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting, utilizing critical thinking and decisive judgment.
