About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in SQL and Python to join our client's team for a 3-month onsite contract in Downtown Denver . The ideal candidate will manage critical database environments, leverage Python for automation and data-related tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, scalability, and data integrity .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases to ensure high performance, availability, and security .
• Develop and maintain Python scripts for database automation, data transformations, and reporting tasks.
• Perform database installations, upgrades, migrations, and patching .
• Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies to improve efficiency.
• Write, test, and deploy complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions .
• Ensure data integrity, backup strategies, and disaster recovery procedures are in place and functioning.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
• Implement security best practices to safeguard sensitive data.
• Provide recommendations for capacity planning and long-term scalability .
