Are you passionate about customer service and eager to join a growing team in the boating and yachting industry? Strong’s Marine is looking for a talented Business Development Coordinator (BDC) to support our sales team and deliver exceptional experiences for our customers.
As a BDC Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in managing and distributing sales leads for new and pre-owned boats and yachts, as well as coordinating communication between customers and the dealership. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our sales department.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Lead Management
- Handle inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and text, responding quickly and professionally.
- Make outbound calls to follow up on customer inquiries, generating quality sales opportunities.
- Schedule and confirm appointments with the sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Deliver exceptional product knowledge and direct customers to appropriate dealership resources.
CRM & Sales Support
Use CRM tools daily to track customer interactions, manage sales leads, and document follow-ups.Assist in maintaining accurate records, ensuring that all sales opportunities are documented thoroughly.Support the sales team with tools and resources to help close deals.Market Research & Business Growth
Conduct lead generation and market research to identify new clients and business opportunities.Analyze competitors and stay updated on industry trends to refine business development strategies.Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and marketing materials to attract new clients.Event Coordination & Networking
Organize and participate in boat shows, trade events, and webinars to promote Strong’s Marine and build brand awareness.Foster and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers.Team Collaboration
Work closely with the BDC team, sales personnel, and management to achieve sales goals.Actively participate in team meetings, training sessions, and process improvement initiatives.Qualifications

Has excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Is customer-focused, empathetic, and able to build trust through outstanding service.Works well in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with a strong work ethic.Is tech-savvy, with experience using CRM software, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.Has strong phone and email etiquette, as well as the ability to multitask effectively.Thrives in a team environment and is open to feedback for continuous improvement.Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).Proven ability to write professional correspondence and deliver compelling presentations.A clean driving record and valid driver’s license.Availability to work a full-time schedule, including one weekend day and holidays as needed.Why Strong’s Marine?
