KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Industry Marketing, Consumer & Retail to join our Marketing team.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop the "Go to Market" (GTM) strategy and overarching story for KPMG's Consumer and Retail industry
  • Manage the coordination and execution of an integrated cross-functional marketing plan to establish brand, support relationship development, and growth with target audiences and sales channels
  • Execute the sector's thought leadership strategy, ensuring adherence with quality standards, and extend across an omni-channel approach (digital, social media, video, podcast, webinar, blogs, association affiliation, and tradeshow sponsorships)
  • Partner with Field Marketing, Hub Marketing, Communications, Media Relations, and Industry analyst community to augment brand reach
  • Perform market research to inform strategic Point of View (POV) documents as critical changes take place in the industry
  • Diagnose client and prospect needs, translate into qualifications and use cases, and architect the positioning to solve critical client marketing opportunities; identify events or venues that attract targeted buyers and influencers to increase brand awareness or change brand image and potentially drive sales and / or create positive publicity that drives new opportunities
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications :

  • Minimum ten years of recent experience in combined marketing and business in professional services or similar corporate environment is preferred
  • Master of business administration degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Consumer and Retail experience is preferred; project management and internal client service knowledge and budget management is also preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, oral communications skills and executive presence
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
