Position is located out of our Williston, Vermont district office./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliInspect, install, perform maintenance, and troubleshooting on a variety of clean agent systems in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements./liliExperienced in: CO2, High Pressure Chemical Agents: FM-200, Ecaro, Novec Inert Agents: Inergen, ProInert2, Natura Addressable Releasing panels VESDA Fike, Kidde, Ansul, Janus, FireTrace/liliRead clean agent data sheets, system manuals, blueprints as required./liliWork safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property./liliMeet daily/weekly service and productivity goals./liliPerform administrative duties including completing service acknowledgements, NFPA Record of completion documents and other supporting documentation./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliPossess any necessary licensing and certification required by National, State and Local codes./liliMinimum 3-5 years related experience in the fire protection industry./liliNICET or equivalent training from manufacturers or institutions./liliWorking knowledge of NFPA 12, 72, 2001./liliExperience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs schematics and operational/product manuals./liliAbility to operate hand and power tools./liliCapable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 100 lbs./liliProficiency with using PCs including working knowledge of MS Excel / Word as well as iPhone/iPad apps./liliAble to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 20 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc./liliAbility to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements./liliWillingness to travel out of town including overnight lodging./liliDemonstrate a high level of customer service./liliA strong work ethic and professional appearance./liliAbility to work within a team environment./liliSelf-starter that can work with little to no supervision./liliStrong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly./liliStrong working knowledge of NFPA codes./liliAbility to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times./liliPossess a valid drivers license and driving record that meets company requirements./li/ulpSuccessful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
