Position Purpose

As a part-time Shift Lead , you’ll step into a leadership role on shift. You’ll ensure the store runs smoothly, support our Pet Care Specialists, and create a warm, expert experience for customers - in-store and through local deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Act as manager-on-duty during assigned shifts.
• Open and close the store, including handling cash and deposits.
• Provide exceptional customer service and product guidance.
• Train, support, and coach Pet Care Specialists.
• Ensure store standards for cleanliness, stocking, and merchandising.
• Safely complete or oversee local deliveries using company vehicles.
• Handle customer concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Communicate shift updates and issues to management.
