Position Summary :

The Travel SLP develops and implements treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities, and to reduce aspiration risk. Communication plans may include strategies to help patients better express themselves and understand others.

Leads, guides, and directs the delivery of speech-language pathology services in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.

Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to provide appropriate care and services to residents.

Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including skilled nursing home standards.

Maintains accurate documentation and clinical records.

Supervises and supports therapy assistants or students as appropriate.

Requirements :

Valid, unrestricted WA State license in Speech-Language Pathology

CCC-certified SLP

1 year of SLP experience – Required

LTC or Rehab experience – Required

Knowledge of skilled nursing regulations, procedures, and guidelines
