Senior Accounts Payable Manager
Location : Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)

Position Overview :
The Senior Accounts Payable Manager will play a critical leadership role in centralizing and scaling the company’s Accounts Payable (A / P) function. This position will oversee the design and implementation of new processes, lead automation and system enhancements, and develop a best-in-class team to support the company’s continued growth. Reporting to senior finance leadership, this individual will act as both a strategic thought partner and hands-on leader, driving continuous improvement and ensuring operational efficiency across all A / P processes nationwide.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement efficient workflows, policies, and procedures to enhance accuracy and timeliness.
Drive automation and systems improvements, leveraging technology to streamline processes.
Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing A / P and accounting teams, ensuring scalability for future growth.
Partner cross-functionally with Procurement, Accounting, and Operations to ensure seamless financial processes.
Oversee vendor management, invoice processing, payments, and month-end close activities related to A / P.
Monitor key performance metrics and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and internal controls.
The right candidate for this Senior Accounts Payable Manager will have :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).
9–11+ years of progressive accounting and leadership experience.
Strong background in Shared Services or multi-entity accounting environments.
Proven experience managing Accounts Payable operations in a large company (>
$1B annual revenue).
Demonstrated success in leading and developing teams at both staff and managerial levels.
CPA designation preferred.
Advanced systems acumen and experience implementing automation solutions.
Strong record of process improvement and operational excellence.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and mentoring skills.
Proven career stability and upward progression.
