Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ECMO Specialist role with a pediatrics focus, requiring Cardio Help experience and relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

Work as an ECMO Specialist within a pediatric hospital setting

Patient population includes pediatric patients requiring ECMO support for cardiac and non-cardiac indications

Specialists must manage both VA ECMO and VV ECMO cases

When not assigned to ECMO, will work as a bedside RN in NICU, PICU, or CVPICU

Float required to NICU, PICU, and CVPICU units

Day shift position with 3x12 hour shifts from 7 : 00 to 19 : 00

Every third weekend of work is required

Average patient ratio is 1 : 2

Duties include serving as pump specialist for ECMO patients and providing bedside care in critical care units as needed

Must be comfortable caring for cardiac, non-cardiac, and NICU pediatric patients

First-time travelers are accepted

Requirements

Active RN license required

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required

Current BLS and PALS certifications required

Cardio Help experience required

Prior experience managing both VA ECMO and VV ECMO required

Candidates must not be former permanent employees of the specified health system

Candidates must live outside a 100-mile radius to be considered
