Overview
The Contract Director for the Lead Maintenance Activity (LMA) is responsible for the overall administration, management, and oversight of the US Navy's ship repair and maintenance contracts in Singapore and the broader Indo-Pacific region. This role works closely with the NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC), Commander, Logistics Group Western Pacific (COMLOG WESTPAC), and the US Navy's Ship Repair Facility Detachment in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with deep expertise in US government contracting and a strong background in managing complex, performance-based service contracts, specifically in the maritime or defense industry.
Responsibilities
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Minimum of 12 years of experience in government contract management, with a strong preference for experience with Department of Defense (DoD) or US Navy contracts.
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering.
Expertise in US federal acquisition regulations and procurement policies.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Prior experience working with or for NAVSUP FLC or a Regional Maintenance Center.
Relevant certifications such as Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) from the National Contract Management Association (NCMA).
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range : $135,556 - $230,444
Please note : This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
