Summary :
As an integral part of our project delivery team, the Junior Project Manager supports the Senior Project Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of construction, automation, and service projects. This entry-level role is perfect for someone beginning their project management journey—organized, curious, and ready to grow. Through hands-on experience and mentorship, the Junior PM will gain practical skills across all phases of a project, from launch to completion.
Qualifications
- 2+ year of experience in construction, HVAC, estimating, or project coordination preferred
- Desire to learn project management methodologies in a fast-paced, collaborative setting
- Strong communication, organizational, and people skills
- Keen attention to detail paired with effective time management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
- Experience with project tracking tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Microsoft Project) is beneficial
- Familiarity with Timberline Sage 300 CRE a bonus, not required
- High school diploma / GED required; degree in a related field is a plus
- Dependable and self-motivated with a growth mindset
- Open to feedback and willing to evolve with team and company processes
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee project progressParticipate in kickoff meetings and assist in documenting scopes, milestones, and requirementsSupport interdepartmental communication to keep construction, automation, and service activities alignedCoordinate with vendors for material procurement and ensure timely deliveriesAssist in managing and organizing essential project documentation, including :RFIs, submittals, change orders, and O&M manualsTrack and update project metrics such as :Design revisionsPermit statusEquipment ordersLabor and installation schedulesBudget forecastsContribute to bi-weekly WIP (Work in Progress) meetings with status updatesJoin site visits with the Senior PM to observe work and learn best practices for quality assuranceMaintain clear, structured digital and paper files for each projectFoster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams through consistent communicationFollow company safety protocols and OSHA guidelinesEmployee Benefits Package
