Program Description : Upward Bound is a federally funded TRIO grant focused on helping students to overcome class, social, academic, and opportunity gaps to higher education. TRIO programs provide a variety of educational support services that include assistance in choosing a college; tutoring; personal and financial counseling; career counseling; assistance in applying to college; workplace and college visits; special instruction in reading, writing, study skills, and mathematics; assistance in applying for financial aid; and academic assistance in high school. The current five-year grant ends August 31, 2027. There may be regularly scheduled weekend and evening activities.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual salary range for this position is $83,600-$94,050. St. John's University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
