A client in the Wilmington, MA area is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team. This candidate will be proficient in the setup and operation of 3-axis milling machines using Acu-Rite or equivalent controls. This machinist will be able to drill and ream pilot holes to tight tolerances using portable drill set-up. They will create slip / sliding fits using provided precision dowel pins and use Deltronic pins for measuring. They will need to be proficient in cleaning, deburring and polishing mounting surfaces, as well as assembly / disassembly. The ideal Machinist will be extremely proficient in a manual lathe and perform jobs from start to finish following drawings. This is not a production environment, so the ideal candidate will have experience working with / creating prototypes for unique projects and ideally have a background in R&D machining.

Required Skills & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 4 years of experience in the setup and operation of 3-axis milling machines, using Acu-Rite or equivalent controls, for precision aerospace parts -

Proficiency utilizing manual lathes
