Maintenance Manager, Process Engineer
Taconic, a global leader in the manufacturing of PTFE coated fiberglass fabric, belts and tapes has the following opportunities available in our Corporate Office in Petersburgh, NY : Maintenance ManagerLead facility maintenance programs.
Duties will include overseeing the repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, managing facility improvement projects, supervising a team of industrial maintenance technicians, as well as collaborating with vendors and contractors for facility repairs and maintenance.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline or suitable manufacturing-related experience. Should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably with 3 years of management experience.
Candidates should have good physical assessment skills to troubleshoot and resolve production and facilities equipment problems.
Salary range : $95,000 $135,000 per year.Process EngineerResponsible for leading process improvement efforts for PTFE & adhesive coating, lamination, and product fabrication.
This includes transitioning new products and processes to production, while ensuring material quality.Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three years of Engineering experience.
Must have experience with one or more of the following : polymer and adhesive coating, PTFE, process improvement, and coating formulations.
Must be self-driven with strong project management, communication, and organizational skills. Salary range : $80,000 $100,000 per year.
