Axle is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our vibrant team at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) supporting the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) located in Rockville, MD.

Overview

As a Project Manager at Axle, you will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives aligned with our strategic mission to lead advances in research, clinical practice and personalized medicine. You will be responsible for guiding healthcare, research, and technology projects from conception through delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, on budget, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals. The project manager will join a national, highly interactive, supportive, and interdisciplinary group of technologists, researchers and information experts that will support the development of approaches that derive insights from data.

Key Responsibilities :

Required Skills :

Minimum Education : Bachelor's degree

Experience : 5–7+ years of experience in senior project management roles, with a proven track record in large-scale, high-impact programs. Experience in healthcare IT, biomedical research, or cloud / cybersecurity domains is a strong plus.

Preferred Skills : PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum, Agile, Informatics.

Supervision Received : Work is performed under the direction of the Program Manager and Director

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
