This role will assist driver with onsite segregation of waste and packaging and videotaping and destruction of DEA controls. Primary responsibilities (essential functions) include : acting as a witness at customer locations where DEA controlled substances are involved, riding along with a CDL driver to assist with duties at their stops, videotaping the destruction process of DEA controlled substances and uploading video into employer system, up to 75% overnight travel based on routes, loading containers and supplies to truck for daily service stops, assisting in maintaining inventory and storage of hazardous materials in accordance with appropriate regulations and policies, practices, and procedures, following all health & safety / job safety analysis (JSA's) procedures as outlined in procedures and policies, completing paperwork legibly, accurately, and in a timely manner, performing related work and additional duties as requested or assigned by supervisor / manager, regular contact with external customers and different levels of personnel on a daily basis, candidate must meet all requirements for handling DEA regulated waste, driving non-DOT regulated vehicle to customer sites to witness regulated waste collection as needed, and high school diploma or GED.
Preferred qualifications include : one or more years related experience, knowledge of OSHA regulations, proficiency with Windows based programs (i.e. Excel and Word), ability to operate a powered industrial truck, e.g., forklift, clean driving record, strong attention to detail, and ability to follow procedures.
