• $24.00 per hour
• Monday–Friday, 6 : 00 AM–2 : 30 PM, Overtime required
• W2 employment Role Impact The Dispatcher coordinates daily transportation and delivery operations to ensure on-time, compliant service. This role drives efficiency by building effective delivery routes, assigning drivers, and monitoring shipments in real time. Success is defined by accurate documentation, proactive issue resolution, and consistent execution of cold chain and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate daily delivery routes and driver schedules to maximize efficiency and meet customer expectations
• Recover and tender freight at local airports; ensure timely pickup and secure transfer
• Monitor shipment status, clearance updates, and special delivery instructions; communicate changes to drivers and internal teams
• Maintain cold chain logistics (temperature-controlled supply chain) for all inbound and outbound shipments, including airport and office storage
• Prepare, configure, refurbish, and manage gel packs and temperature-controlled packaging materials
• Monitor inbound / outbound calls, shared email accounts, and shipment tracking systems; document updates accurately in dispatch systems
• Oversee “On-Hold” shipments and outbound flight tracking to ensure proper export and delivery approval
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Report complaints, service issues, or shipment concerns to management immediately
• Support leadership with daily operational tasks as needed
• High school diploma or GED required
• 2–3 years of experience in dispatch, transportation, logistics, or a related field
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. safely Equipment & Work Environment
• Office and warehouse environment based on daily operational needs
• Temporary work inside trucks while loading and unloading freight
• Required entry into walk-in refrigeration and freezer units; thermal apparel provided
• Frequent computer use, phone communication, and multi-system data entry
• Fast-paced setting requiring multitasking and a strong sense of urgency Preferred Skills
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with dispatch or transportation management systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
