Job description

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Coordinator 1.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and respond to provider and pharmacy calls regarding prior authorization and formulary processes

Perform reviews of pharmacy and override processes in compliance with guidelines

Analyze cost and utilization patterns to support pharmacy program development

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

3+ years of pharmacy experience, preferably in a managed care environment

Current state's Pharmacy Technician license preferred

Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of start date
