We are seeking a skilled Fleet Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair. This role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring that all equipment is safe and operational. The Mechanic will work closely with our team to provide exceptional service to our drivers while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENCE WITH LESS THAN 2 POINTS OR PLEASE DO NOT APPLY.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Equipmet and Vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively to complete repairs.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Fleet Mechanic or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair.

Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes.

Familiarity with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair techniques specific to diesel engines.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks associated with the role.

Pay : $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
