- Mechanical Aptitude : Proficient with tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and torque tools for mechanical repairs, essential for lift installation and maintenance.
- Suspension System Knowledge : Understanding of components like shock absorbers, struts, springs, control arms, and bushings; ability to diagnose and repair wear or damage effectively.
- Alignment Expertise : Skilled in performing wheel alignments to maintain proper tire wear and vehicle handling, with familiarity in using alignment machines and tools.
- Chassis Repair : Experienced in working with the vehicles frame or chassis, understanding its impact on suspension performance.
- Steering Systems : Knowledgeable about how suspension affects steering, including inspection and repair of tie rods, ball joints, and rack-and-pinion systems.
- Tire and Wheel Knowledge : Understanding the effect of different suspension setups on tire wear and performance, and working with various wheel and tire sizes.
- Diagnostic Tools : Familiar with tools for testing suspension performance and identifying issues.
