A respected community hospital in western North Carolina is seeking a psychiatrist to join its established behavioral health team. This position offers the opportunity to provide care across child, adolescent, and adult populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Practice Overview
- Join a team of four full-time psychiatrists, plus APP support and a psychologist
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient care, including child and adolescent focus
- Inpatient services include adult, intensive, medical-psychiatry, and geriatric units
Schedule
Inpatient rounding begins at 8 : 30 a.m. with multidisciplinary team meetingsTransition to outpatient clinic midday, typically concluding by 4 p.m. (3 p.m. Fridays)Optional monthly "admin Friday" following weekend call for documentation catch-upCompensation & Benefits
