NUAIR is on a mission to usher in the next generation of UAS and Advanced Air Mobility solutions for the safety societal and economic benefit of New York State and beyond. We are currently looking to fill a fulltime Part 107 Pilot position with someone who can operationally execute on customer projects while keeping safety at our core.
Summary : Responsible for performing safe operations of small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS) for both Visual Line of Site (VLOS) and Beyond Visual Line of Site (BVLOS) missions. The Senior Pilot is also responsible for maintaining, evaluating and improving NUAIR’s enterprise UAS Service Supplier (USS) system. Additional, this role will directly participate in planning and execution of client projects including flight operations and consultation for program development and training. The Senior Pilot will report to the Chief Pilot.

6. The Pilot will act as a member of the project delivery team for consultative projects for NY State agencies and public benefit corporations and other public and commercial clients. These projects will require data collection and analysis, development of and consultation on process, procedures, and methodologies, among other project delivery tasks and deliverables .
