The Senior Marketing Specialist Budget Operations plays a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the marketing organization. This position leads the coordination and execution of marketing programs while managing budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals. The role bridges creative marketing execution with disciplined financial oversightsupporting campaign planning, spend forecasting, and performance reporting. The specialist partners closely with finance, marketing leadership, and cross-functional teams to ensure marketing investments are optimized, compliant, and delivered within approved budget.

Responsibilities :

• Manage and maintain detailed marketing budget trackers across corporate, brand, and business unit teams, ensuring accurate forecasting, spend tracking, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with business unit and functional marketing leaders ensuring alignment with budget and operational timelines.
• Lead the end-to-end invoice process, including approvals, coding, and reconciliation, while maintaining compliance with corporate accounting standards.
• Deliver monthly and quarterly financial reports, highlighting budget variances, and actionable insights for leadership.
• Support the development of marketing dashboards that connect spend data to campaign and program performance.
• Collaborate with Finance and Marketing leadership to align on accruals, reclasses, and year-end close requirements.
• Develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for budget governance, reporting cadence, and financial workflows across marketing systems.
• Ability to develop compelling presentations that clearly communicate marketing performance, budget insights, and strategic recommendations to executive audiences.
