Job descriptionAssociate’s degree in engineering, construction, facility management, or related field. Related specialized training and 10+ years of experience may be substituted for a degree. 3+ years’ experience as a Facility Coordinator supporting government facilities. Knowledge of a comprehensive range of principles, concepts, and practices concerning complex technical requirements for maintenance and operations of facilities and equipment. Knowledge of safety and security practices for government facilities. Familiarity with Air Force CE processes and building inspections. Multi-skilled in electrical, mechanical, drywall, painting, concrete repairs, HVAC maintenance, roof systems, and housekeeping. Expertise with programs in the Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. An adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI), Common Access Card (CAC) preferred within the last two (2) years. Prior Air Force experience preferred. Facility Manager Professional certification a plus. Motivated self-starters requested. Local travel to different facilities on base required. Must have a valid State Driver’s License. Has served at least 180 days on active duty Is within 12 months of separation or retirement Will receive an honorable discharge Has taken any service TAPS / TGPS Received Unit Commander (first O-4 / Field Grade commander in chain of command) written authorization and approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge Program prior to start of internship.

We are looking for a Facility Coordinator to provide on-site support at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), TX.
Relocation Assistance : Relocation assistance is not available.
Travel : Position is located on site at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), TX.
JOB DESCRIPTION :
The Facility Coordinator will be responsible for the performance of maintenance operations of multi-military facilities including :
- Provide onsite management of facilities.
- Conduct ooversight and physical inspections.
- Conduct planning, coordination, tracking and verification of repairs.
- Provide oversight of maintenance policies and procedures for properties under his / her supervision.
- Prepare status updates on submittals and tracking service requests for facilities.
- Work and coordinate with facility stakeholders to include both tenants and Civil Engineering (CE) representatives on service request coordination / approvals.
- Utilize government systems (such as NexGen) to submit and track service requests through the CE process.
- Conduct facility inspections on a daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual basis.
- Collect, track, analyze and present facility data.
