Lazy Bear is looking for a full-time Events & Operations Assistant with both experience working in restaurant service and administrative tasks. This is a hybrid role of administrative and event service tasks and responsibilities.

This candidate will be assisting the Operations Team with maintaining many of the important documents our team relies on and that our guests see when they dine; including menus and beverage menus, course component lists, menu notes, menu revisions, and floor and seating charts. Previous fine dining or luxury hospitality guest-facing experience is preferred - i.e. captain, server assistant, etc. Must be friendly, outgoing, able to multitask, and have the persistence to follow through and complete tasks without constant oversight. Must provide professional, efficient, polished, and courteous service. Must be informed and be prepared to answer guest inquiries or questions, accurately and knowledgeably.

  • Enter guest information into the Lazy Bear ticketing system in order to ensure that data is accurate and comprehensive
  • Conduct efficient and professional reservation and dietary needs phone calls
  • Handle multiple requests at any one time while maintaining composure
  • Display a high level of integrity and professionalism at all times in dealing with guests and employees
  • Respond to written communication in a professional and timely manner

  • Cultivating an unprecedented guest experience by not only providing the highest technical level of service to guests, but doing so with joy and effusiveness.
  • Contribute to and elevate service with a strong attention to detail, and dedication to standards.
  • Work closely with culinary team to have a full understanding of our menu and overall mission
  • Communicate with guests and coworkers in a refined, clear, and efficient manner
  • Maintain an elegant and professional manner on the floor at all times
  • Handle initial guest issues or complaints, while keeping management fully informed to solve issues, and escalate to management as required
  • Be an ambassador at all times for Lazy Bear
  • Complete any project or other tasks assigned by management
