A-Line Staffing is now hiring Material Handler III in Sparks, MD.

The Material Handler III would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full-time / 40+ hours per week.

Material Handler III Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $18.45 per hour
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Material Handler III Highlights

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • The required availability for this position is 2nd shift : Monday–Friday, 4 : 00pm–12 : 30am

    • Material Handler III Responsibilities

  • Safely and accurately load and unload products within the distribution center
  • Utilize ERP and WMS systems for location, storage, and movement of materials
  • Pick, pack, scan, and process customer orders with RF technology
  • Build and re-palletize products for shipment; prepare documentation for domestic and international shipping
  • Operate material handling equipment (MHE) including forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, and dock stockers
  • Verify accuracy of shipments, ensure proper packaging, and maintain compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Follow safety procedures, maintain clean work areas, and assist in maintaining warehouse security
  • Cross-train in other warehouse functions and act as backup when needed
  • Complete required training modules and maintain equipment certifications

    • Material Handler III Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 3+ years of relevant warehouse / distribution experience preferred
  • Forklift certification required; experience with MHE strongly preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret distribution documents and work with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Experience with Voice / RF scanners and working in a metrics-driven environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform physical warehouse duties
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and near moving mechanical equipment
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • General distribution knowledge
  • Hazmat training or experience
  • Previous cross-training in multiple warehouse roles
