Job Summary :
This position is responsible for the overall operation of the Grinding machine and supplying good, quality product with the ability to meet deadlines in a safe manner. Additional responsibilities will include : assistance with creating SOP and other production related documentation, inventory data-entry and cross-training into other job functions as needed. This position requires routine attendance to departmental, production, safety and Company meetings.

Operate the Grinding machine which includes operation of the Bagger, Grinders & Dust Collector with minimal supervision :

Adhere to and follow all quality guidelines. Continually check product for quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Operate fork truck to lift / transport raw materials and finished products and use impact wrenches / pneumatic equipment while adhering to all power industrial equipment rules and safety requirements

Maintain clean work environment by using air hose on all machine areas at every color change to avoid contamination; ensure tools & equipment are kept in an orderly fashion and stored where required for easy access; maintain equipment by reporting any maintenance issues immediately to supervisor and maintenance department

Cross-train into other job functions providing assistance as necessary or during downtime within the department
