Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Nurse Practitioners - General Medicine NC

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct interview-based assessments and physical examinations, including range of motion and muscle strength testing
• Perform non-treatment, one-time exams including Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments
• Review and complete reports and addendums efficiently
• Work independently at your own office location within assigned radius
• Maintain timely documentation and administrative follow-up tasks

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or related general medicine fields
• Ability to perform physical assessments and interviews accurately
• Strong organizational skills to manage exam documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Prior experience with compensation and pension exams
• Familiarity with Vaud or veteran-related healthcare assessments
• Ability to work independently within prescribed radius and schedule

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina
• Minimum of 2 years' clinical experience in general medicine or related specialty
• Experience in performing assessments for compensation or pension purposes is a plus

Other Requirements:

• Own a personal office location within the specified radius
• Ability to work on an ongoing PRN basis, with availability for up to 3 days per week in multiple locations
• Willingness to perform exams in various North Carolina locations as needed
• No prescribing or treatment responsibilities
• Complete credentialing and onboarding promptly; quick learning curve

This offering provides an excellent hourly rate of $402.00, with flat rates of $600 for half-day shifts and $1200 for full-day shifts, including travel and administrative tasks. Additionally, a one-time bonus of $650 is offered upon completing all training and initial exams.
