Job description :
The superintendent is responsible for the field work on construction projects, while ensuring that company policies and procedures are met for workers compensation and OSHA safety, reading plans A to Z, scheduling, managing job site, and excellent customer, vendor, and employee communication skills. Job responsibilities include construction for commercial and residential properties, including renovations.

QUALIFICATIONS :
Must have Retail Project New Construction and Remodel Experience.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform satisfactorily the essential duties and responsibilities noted above.
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
Field experience should include a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a superintendent role. Must have hands on field experience as well as supervisory experience in a concrete construction discipline.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS
Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
First Aid / CPR Certification, preferred
OSHA Certification, preferred
Fall Protection Competent Person, preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Over 95% of the time will require working outside on the job site and equipment. Less than 5% of the time will require working at a desk.
HOURS
Shifts vary from 6 : 30 am to 3 : 00 pm and 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Employees must be able to wear the personal protective equipment (PPE) required of various construction work environments (hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, safety-toed shoes, etc.). The employee is required to stand, walk, use stairs, ladders, and step stools, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and may occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to navigate stairs and ladders to work on structures. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. The employee may be required to stand for extended periods of time.
