Responsibilities

This entry level warehouse job consists of performing a variety of tasks to assist the Distribution Center in operating efficiently. The duties include the following :

Transfers trash and recyclable material to the compactor / baler area and maintains a clean work area.

Separates recyclable material from trash.

Operates all machinery used to handle trash or recycled material.

Loads / unloads Junk bedding, Shuttle, Receiving and Recycling trailers.

Handles, repackages and moves returned merchandise

Sorts, transports, processes recycling material and disposes all trash generated from the department's daily operations

Assist with the overall cleanliness of the DC by ensuring floor is clear of recycling debris

Uses and maintains tools and equipment in accordance with company and OSHA safety standards
