Job Summary :

Lee’s Summit Medical Center is seeking an emergency medicine chief to join our team in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

Qualified Candidates :

• Board certified / board eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM or AOBEM). Will also consider FP / IM board-certified physicians with two (2) years of emergency medicine experience.
• Must have one (1) to three (3) years of prior supervisory / leadership experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, promoting effective collaboration and teamwork.
• Commitment to delivery of high quality, patient-centered care. Ability to effectively and efficiently work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong decision making and critical thinking skills.
• 27-hour emergency medicine physician coverage Monday – Wednesday within the emergency department.
• 24 hours of emergency medicine physician coverage Thursday – Sundays
• 24 hours of APP coverage 7 days per week
• Ability to obtain Missouri medical licensure.
