Customer Service Manager - Highland, IL

Description

Manage the US Customer Service organization to meet the companys objectives while ensuring customer relationships are maintained.

Reports to : Vice President of Sales

Essential Duties

  • Manage the processes and procedures for the direct reporting organizations to ensure effective and efficient operations are established and operating policies are understood and followed through an active management approach.
  • Ensure key goals are understood related to meeting operational efficiencies for the Customer Service team.
  • Coordinate business processes and ensure consistent operating procedures are utilized to meet the companys objectives.
  • Ensure requirements of import export documentation and processes are clearly defined to meet the regulatory, legal, and corporate requirements.
  • Ensure proper resource planning and forecasting is in place to meet Customers expectations or contractual arrangements.
  • Ensure the customer experience is positive and timely with regard to meeting their needs.
  • Work with the sales management team to address specific customer issues.
  • Provide proper follow-up on all activities within the control of the Customer Service department.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Management / Administration.
  • Minimum of Five (5) years experience in management in Customer Service or Customer Relationship Management.
  • Strong work ethic, self-starter, able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lead, influence and work collaboratively in teams of diverse disciplines and cultural backgrounds.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Software and database systems.
  • Oracle E1 experience preferred.
