Field Technician

This role involves traveling throughout the state of Indiana, as well as parts of Illinois and Ohio, to maintain, install, calibrate, and service flow meters. The flow meters are installed inside the top portion of manholes to collect data on the amount of flow passing through pipes or streams. This data is used for documentation by municipalities and large industries. The position requires utilizing mechanical and electrical expertise to perform these tasks.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout specified territories to service and install flow meters.
• Install flow meters inside manholes to collect flow data.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot flow meters using computer technology.
• Maintain accurate documentation of data collected for municipalities and industries.
• Collaborate with senior employees for effective task execution.

Work Environment

The role involves significant travel, with 25% of the time spent traveling, including 1-2 overnight stays per week within a three-hour radius from the office in Indianapolis.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
