Jonathan Rose Companies ("Rose") is one of the country's leading owners and developers of green affordable and mixed-income communities, demonstrating that a commitment to positive social and environmental impact is achievable at scale. Founded in 1989, Rose has created projects with more than $5 billion of value with a current portfolio of nearly 20,000 apartment homes in 14 states and Washington DC.
Our mission is to create a more environmentally thriving, socially just world through the development and preservation of green, affordable and mixed income housing. Our communities are models of cost-effective, green, transit-oriented urban development that set new industry standards, help change policies and direct funding towards scalable solutions.
Our Development Team produces beautifully designed, green affordable and mixed-income communities. Our buildings consistently set new benchmarks in sustainable design and provide a platform for social programming for our residents, including health, social service, education, culture, and recreation programs.
The Development Group is seeking a Summer 2026 Development Intern, based in our New York City office. The Intern will gain insight into the real estate development process and will learn tangible skills related to developing mission-driven affordable and mixed-income housing.
