The Team

How you will contribute

You are a seasoned strategy consultant with a strong foundation in Financial Services and a reputation for delivering results. Trusted by senior executives to navigate disruption, you bring structure to ambiguity, clarity to complexity, and action to strategy. You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and are excited by the opportunity to lead transformation across Capital Markets and Financial Markets Infrastructure. You’re ready for a high-impact role where you’ll work closely with C-level clients and internal leaders to drive growth, operational improvement, and innovation.

This is a hybrid, in-office role based in New York or Boston.

The work

• Lead engagements end-to-end, overseeing planning, execution, and delivery across multiple workstreams.
• Manage client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and ensuring alignment of project delivery with client expectations and strategic goals.
• Drive strategic problem-solving, synthesizing data and insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Present findings and value-driven insights to senior client stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
• Support business development, including proposal development, client pitches, and identifying new whitespace opportunities.
• Shape client agendas, using your industry perspective and strategic acumen to influence outcomes.
• Develop IP and thought leadership, staying ahead of industry shifts in fintech, AI, and digital innovation.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, providing hands-on coaching and helping cultivate a high-performing, collaborative culture.
• Contribute to firm growth, by bringing new ideas, building capabilities, and expanding our footprint in the Financial Services sector.

Qualifications

Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings’ fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined periodically as well as a 401(k) retirement savings plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive an annual discretionary contribution to their 401(k) retirement savings plan from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The salary range is $150,000- $200,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
