We are currently looking fora Senior Industrial Refrigeration Engineer to join our Engineering department located at one of our office locations or remotelyOur ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has 8-10+ years of experience as an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer or in a similar role. They will be someone who is a self-starter and will bring a strong sense of leadership, direction, and commitment to our projects.

Primary responsibilities for iENG's Senior Industrial RefrigerationEngineer include :

• Leading industrial refrigeration design and implementation projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Designing, specifying, and selecting industrial refrigeration systems and components, considering factors such as energy efficiency, cost, and regulatory compliance.
• Performing load calculations, refrigerant flow rates, and other technical assessments to inform system sizing and design.
• Ensuring all designs meet relevant local and international codes, standards, and safety regulations, including ASHRAE, IIAR, LEED, and NFPA standards.
• Preparing and reviewing technical documents, including design drawings, specifications, equipment selections and submittals, and cost estimates.
• Overseeing installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of the systems to ensure quality and functionality.
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
• Collaborating with clients and owners to understand project requirements and provide technical support and recommendations.
