Our 3M Cottage Grove Site includes 625 colleagues and manufactures value added products including abrasives, semiconductor pad conditioners, specialty chemicals, glass bubbles, automotive nonwoven webs, and film.

The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Manufacturing Engineer at our Cottage Grove facility, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by :

• Leading Continuous Improvement teams and Product and Process Understanding (PPU) efforts to improve safety, quality, increase yields, improve productivity and raise the bar for process capability on manufacturing equipment
• Leading site and division management of change processes
• Leading and participating on site and division New Product Introductions
• Leading and participating on capital equipment projects
• Creating and maintaining standard operating procedures, work instructions and test methods
• Efficiently troubleshooting defects and variation, performing root cause analysis and applying systemic problem-solving skills and robust solutions
• Proactively communicating at all levels of the organization to drive direction and positive change
• Supporting a dynamic 24x7 operation through a willingness to be on-call

Applicable to US Applicants Only : The expected compensation range for this position is $122,292 - $149,468, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
