Assignment Type : Locum tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Location : Oneida, New York (NY)

Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : August 30, 2026

Duration : 41 weeks

Shifts per Week : 3 (12-hour day shifts)

Total Hours per Week : 36

Setting : Hospital-based anesthesia (6 operating rooms)

Case Types : General anesthesia, orthopedic anesthesia, OB anesthesia

Charting System : Paper and Meditech

Supervision : 2 : 1 CRNA to physician anesthesiologist ratio

On-Call : No in-house or pager call required

CRNA Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program

Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

Eligible or willing to obtain New York state CRNA license

Minimum 1 year of recent clinical CRNA experience required

CRNA Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain informed patient consent

Educate patients about anesthesia options and associated risks

Administer induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia for general, orthopedic, and OB surgical cases

Monitor and document patients’ physiological status throughout procedures

Provide clinical interventions and emergency response as needed

Collaborate with supervising physician anesthesiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
