SENIOR RESTAURANT ACCOUNTANT
We are an airport concessionaire owning and operating name brand restaurant and retail concepts inside the DFW, IAH and Dallas Love Field Airports for the past 27 years.
We are seeking a Senior Accountant for our Support Center located two miles from the Dallas Love Field Airport off of Mockingbird Lane.

Applicants must be local and have 5-10 years Restaurant Accounting experience to be considered.

Senior Accountant Requirements include :
- Perform independent month-end close functions including closing entries, accrual reconciliations, FA reconciliation, payroll reconciliation and bank reconciliation.
- Financial reporting including preparation of preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, restaurant level operations statement and cash flow statements by legal entity / store level.
- Complete external audit; providing audit schedules and analyzing information for auditors by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts; providing information for auditors.
- Ability to analyze information in GL and find anomalies, run data analysis to look for in appropriate balances; run variance analysis.
- Ability to complete the following reconciliations : a) bank, b) accounts receivable and c) accounts payable from subsidiary ledgers.
- Ability to work independently and to prioritize workload; Mindset to be a problem solver.
- Experience in the restaurant, retail or hospitality industries is a requirement
- Audit experience is required
- Ability to prepare franchise royalty reports, airport rent reports and reconciliations.
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements including performing fluctuation analysis
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to understand and apply accounting principles.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to take on special projects.
- Fast Learner; Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and flexible.
Education and / or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year College or university; five or more years related experience, including hands-on full-cycle accounting. Experience with partnership and / or multi-entity accounting highly preferred.Other Skills and Abilities
Proficient in computer skills : Microsoft Office Suite of products.
